Research Monitoring & Evaluation (RM&E)
Given that research conducted within Afghanistan is often sensitive due to cultural and religious constraints, it is absolutely essential that it should be developed, approved and conducted in a well-organized, efficient and professional manner. The RM&E Department is responsible for ensuring that all training, communications, marketing, and policy activities and interventions are based on solid evidence.
This requires the team to actively engage multi-sector planning committees in the design and reporting of all research projects. The Project team partners with other donor contractors, and stakeholders to leverage other sources of ongoing research, where appropriate. Research information informs the Project regarding market segmentation and strategy decisions as it pertains to new product needs, target audience selection, outlet expansion roll-outs, tailored communication messages as well as the ultimate impact and effectiveness of work plan activities.
