Micro-Entrepreneur Distribution Model Piloted in Kabul and Jalalabad in
November 2023

In November 2023, LHSS piloted a community-based distribution model in Kabul and Jalalabad, empowering micro-entrepreneurs to retail ASMO health products directly to households. This innovative approach increased access to essential health products in urban neighborhoods and showed promising early results. Based on the pilot’s success, an expansion plan for Year 3 has been developed to scale the model to additional cities, strengthening community-level health access.
